IVAGO is a mixed intermunicipal association. The City of Ghent and the Municipality of Destelbergen are the public partners, while ECOV is the private partner, with Suez Belgium and Indaver as members.
IVAGO operates a high-tech waste incineration plant equipped with flue gas cleaning and energy recovery. Each year, IVAGO processes 100,000 tons of combustible household waste, meeting its own electricity and heat needs while also supplying electricity to the public grid. Through an underground steam pipeline, IVAGO helps heat the Universitair Ziekenhuis Gent (UZ Gent).
IVAGO est une association intercommunale mixte. La ville de Gand et la commune de Destelbergen sont les partenaires publics. ECOV est le partenaire privé, avec Suez Belgium et Indaver comme membres.
IVAGO dispose d'une installation d'incinération des déchets de haute technologie, équipée d'un lavage des fumées et d'un système de récupération d'énergie. Chaque année, IVAGO traite 100.000 tonnes de déchets ménagers combustibles et couvre ses propres besoins en électricité et en chaleur, tout en fournissant également de l'électricité au réseau public. Grâce à une conduite de vapeur souterraine, IVAGO contribue au chauffage de l'hôpital UniverSuez de Gand.
IVAGO is een gemengde intergemeentelijke vereniging. De stad Gent en de gemeente Destelbergen zijn de overheidspartners. ECOV is de private partner. Suez Belgium en Indaver maken er deel van uit.
IVAGO beschikt over een hoogtechnologische afvalverbrandingsinstallatie met rookgaswassing en energieterugwinning. IVAGO verwerkt jaarlijks 100.000 ton brandbaar huishoudelijk afval en voorziet in de eigen behoefte aan elektriciteit en warmte, maar levert daarnaast ook elektriciteit af aan het openbare net. Via een ondergrondse stoomleiding zorgt IVAGO mee voor de verwarming van het UniverSuezir Ziekenhuis Gent.
