ILvA is the intermunicipal environmental cooperation for the Land van Aalst region. Previously, such a cooperation between municipalities was called an intercommunal association. ILvA consists of 15 cities and municipalities, with IVBO and IVM also as shareholders. These cities and municipalities have joined forces to collect household waste at the doorstep and to manage 15 recycling centers. The collection method, sorting rules, and tariffs are the same across all these municipalities.
ILvA is headquartered in Erembodegem (a district of Aalst), where the transfer of various waste types takes place. Additionally, there is a composting facility where all organic waste (GFT) is processed.
ILvA est la coopération environnementale intercommunale pour la région du Land van Aalst. Auparavant, une telle collaboration entre communes était appelée une association intercommunale. ILvA regroupe 15 villes et communes, avec IVBO et IVM également comme actionnaires. Ces villes et communes ont uni leurs forces pour collecter les déchets ménagers à domicile et pour gérer 15 parcs à conteneurs. La méthode de collecte, les règles de tri et les tarifs sont uniformes dans toutes ces communes.
Le siège d’ILvA est situé à Erembodegem (un district d’Alost), où s’effectue le transfert de divers types de déchets. Il y a également une installation de compostage où tous les déchets organiques (GFT) sont traités.
ILvA is het intergemeentelijk samenwerkingsverband voor milieu Land van Aalst. Vroeger noemde men zo n samenwerkingsverband tussen gemeenten een intercommunale. Er maken 15 steden en gemeenten deel uit van ILvA. Ook IVBO en IVM zijn aandeelhouder. Deze steden en gemeenten hebben de handen in elkaar geslagen om samen het huishoudelijk afval aan huis in te zamelen en de werking van 15 recyclageparken te organiseren. De inzamelmethode, de sorteerregels en de tarieven zijn in al deze gemeenten hetzelfde.
ILvA is gehuisvest in Erembodegem (deelgemeente van Aalst), waar de overslag van de verschillende afvalsoorten gebeurt. Er is ook een composteerinstallatie, waar alle GFT naartoe wordt gebracht.
